Important Information
- The supplied 96-gallon trash and recycling carts are provided by LRS. Contact LRS to receive a cart or a replacement.
- Cart(s) and yard waste must be put out the night before and removed off roadside the same day as pick-up per By-laws.
- In the case where a holiday occurs, the service days will be shifted one day forward the entire week.
- LRS uses an automatic loading arm that loads your trash and recycling items into their trucks. Place cart 3 ft. from mailbox (if applicable) with handles facing house.
- All bulk item requests and payments will go directly through LRS. Bulk items consist of an item that is too large to fit into the provided cart during a normal scheduled service day. Contact LRS to make arrangements for bulk pick up. The cost is $25 per bulk item. Carpet must be tied in 4 ft rolled sections not to exceed 50 lbs per roll. Bulk items should not be heavier than what two people can safely lift.
- All missed collections, complaints or service issues will be handled directly by LRS. The LCPOA Office will not handle any issues, as LRS keeps a log of all these matters and provides a report upon request.
- LRS uses "single-stream" or "comingled" recycling. This means that all recyclables do not need to be sorted by you. Materials are sorted at a single-stream sorting facility after collection.
